We're Stripe's first Billing Specialised Partner in APAC

We're very excited to share that AhoyAhoy has achieved Stripe Billing Specialisation — and we're the first partner in APAC to earn it.

If you've worked with us before, you'll know Stripe has always been core to how we help clients run their revenue and finance systems. This is Stripe formally recognising that — and putting us in a very small, very specific club.
What Billing Specialisation actually is
Stripe's partner ecosystem has layers. Plenty of agencies are "Stripe partners." Fewer are Verified. Fewer still earn a Specialisation — and Billing is one of the hardest to get.
To qualify, a partner needs multiple professional-level Stripe certifications across both the Architect and Developer tracks, a track record of successfully activated Stripe implementations, verified references from real clients confirming the work actually held up, and a pass on Stripe's own capability assessment. It's not a self-nomination either — it requires your Stripe Partner Development Manager to put you forward for it.
In short: it's Stripe saying "we've checked, and this crew genuinely knows Billing" — not just checked a training-completion box.
Why we went after it
Subscriptions and recurring revenue are deceptively hard to get right. Stripe Billing handles the payments side brilliantly — but the moment you need proration rules, usage-based pricing, multi-entity billing, tax logic, dunning, or a ledger your finance team actually trusts, things get complicated fast. We've spent years in that exact territory: re-architecting Billing implementations, building the bridge from Stripe into Xero and other ledgers, and writing the reconciliation logic that makes the numbers actually tie out.
That work is also why SubSync was created — the product from our sister company Finlert — purpose-built to solve the Stripe-to-Xero reconciliation problem that trips up so many growing SaaS businesses. Between AhoyAhoy's implementation work and Finlert's reconciliation tooling, we sit across the full journey from payment_succeeded to a set of books your CFO will actually sign off on. Billing Specialisation is Stripe validating that this is a genuine specialty, not a side offering.
What this means for you
If you're running (or planning to run) subscriptions, usage-based billing, or complex recurring revenue on Stripe, this status means:
Deeper technical bench strength. Our team holds professional-level Stripe certifications, including Stripe Billing Architect and Stripe Partner Advocate.
Proven implementations, not theory. This status was earned on the back of real client work Stripe independently verified — not a sales pitch.
A partner who owns the whole last mile. From configuring Billing itself, through to the Xero (or other ledger) integration and the reconciliation middleware that closes the gap — we can own as much or as little of that chain as you need.
A shorter path to Stripe. As a Specialised partner, we're able to work more closely with Stripe on your behalf when things need escalating.
Want to see it in the directory?
You can find our full partner profile — specialisations, certifications, and case studies — on the Stripe Partner Directory, or head to our Stripe Partner services page to see how we can help with your own billing setup.
If subscriptions, billing, or reconciliation are giving your team grief, we'd love to chart a course through it with you.
